<div style="margin-left:0cm;margin-right:3.902cm;">In order to obviate overtightening to accommodate the split pin and consequent failure of rocker bracket bolts, the existing castellated nuts are replaced by a triangular lock plate. In addition, bolts in improved material, namely D.T.D.551, are introduced.</div>

<div style="margin-left:0cm;margin-right:3.902cm;">Since this Modificatiopn is cancelled by Modification G.1448 (see Modification News Sheet) no further details are considered necessary.</div>

<div style="margin-left:1.251cm;margin-right:3.902cm;">NOTE: Technical News Sheets G.31, G.53 and G.44 which were transferred to the Modification Folder under cover of Gipsy Amendment Number 7 to Technical News Sheet G.E.5 may now be removed from the folder and <u>destroyed</u>.</div>
